Four local women were invited to create "Quilts for Obama."
The Post and Courier chatted with those four women: Peggie Hartwell of Summerville, Catherine Lamkin of West Ashley, Marlene O'Bryant of Seabrook, and Torreah Washington of West Ashley.
Go read the paper's story about the women and their quilts or, just go straight for the candy and check out the images of the quilts.
The quilts will be on display January 11 to 31 at 801 K Street, NW in Washington D.C.
The event is being put on by the Historical Society of Washington and The Group for Cultural Documentation.
