Charleston’s Sweet Spot Exchanges Cupcake Tokens for Needed Curricular Items
Cupcake Down South has teamed up with WINGS for Kids in a Lowcountry collaboration with a goal to collect school supplies that will benefit local children in the WINGS for Kids program. Donations will be accepted from August 4-17 at Cupcake’s King St. and Mount Pleasant locations. For every three items a person donates, they will receive one of Cupcake’s signature wooden tokens that are good for a free cupcake.
The items on WINGS’ Top 10 Most Needed School Supplies List include: pencils, markers, crayons, colored pencils, hula-hoops, kick-balls, basketballs, soccer balls, kid-size running shoes, and white/black kid-size T-shirts.
