While Charleston's art scene certainly has a wide array of fantastic art, it is a rare day when you can take a piece from one of the Holy City's talented artists to hang on your own wall without feeling a punch to the bank account.
A Midsummer's Night Art Delight is setting out to change that with art from Pamela Cisneros, Amelia & Dan Hale, Kristen Ley, Kim Lucia and Catherine Yerger all priced at $350 and under.
Choose from a variety of oils, acrylics, mixed media and fine art photography, with a drawing every 45 minutes for a free work of art and massage or facial. The evening will be set to the music of Cristobal and flavored with libations by Crushed Fine Wine.
If this wasn't feel good enough, each artist will donate 10% of his or her proceeds to their respective charities; Charleston Animal Society, Lowcountry Pregnancy Center, Meals on Wheels, Mississippi Mustard Seed and The Sustainability Insititue.
The artful delight will take place July 22nd from from 5 to 9 p.m. at 234 Mathis Ferry Road, Suite 103.
