Amanda Rosen, Owner of Butterfly Consignment Boutiques in downtown Charleston and Mount Pleasant, announced today that Victoria’s Curvacious Consignments will open its doors to the public on Tuesday, February 21st in Mt. Pleasant's Village Pointe Shopping Center.
Rosen continues to lead Charleston in contemporary consigning by creating the first store in the Lowcountry to offer designer clothes and top mall brands at a fraction of retail prices for women sizes 14 and above.
“Victoria’s Curvacious Consignments embraces all women with curvy figures, and we are thrilled to now offer our customers a wonderful shopping experience unlike any other in the Lowcountry,” said Rosen. “Every woman should have the opportunity to find fabulous clothes for less, no matter their size.”
The curvy-exclusive store location was formerly Victoria’s Consignments which mirrored Butterfly Consignment Boutiques’ operations for sizes 16 and under. Rosen saw a gap in the local consignment industry and Victoria’s Consignments was the ideal store to shift into the curvy business.
“This important group of women was not being served in the designer consignment retail arena,” added Rosen.
Many designers create clothing size 14 and higher, however most Charleston stores do not carry these larger sizes. Curvacious’ is the exception and will offer one-of-a-kind, top designer items and handpicked accessories for sizes 14 and above, as well as shoes size 7 and above.
Curvacious’ personal shopping services also set the boutique apart from other consignment stores. The Curvaceous staff is there to help customers put together outfits, search for special items on their wish lists and give expert style advice.
Victoria’s Curvacious Consignments and Butterfly Consignment Boutiques are now accepting spring consignments. For details, visit ButterflyConsignments.com.
