You probably remember the news about how South Carolina is on the edge of a Medicaid budgetary crisis and that a high-ranking state Senator was threatening to just shut the whole thing down taking away health insurance from some 1-in-6 South Carolinians.
(Asking for $663 million in new funding will surely raise eyebrows when the state is already looking to trim that amount from its new budget.)
