Female cats will be spayed for just $25 every Thursday in May at Pet Helpers.
Give a mom a break and make an appointment for your cat by calling Pet Helpers Spay/Neuter Clinic at (843) 302-0556. Female cats will be spayed for just $25 on Thursdays this month. Two vaccines are required for this service. Cat owners will need to show proof of current Rabies and FVRCP (Distemper combo) vaccinations for their pet, or they may get the vaccines on the day of the surgery. With surgery, the cost for each shot is just $10.00. Microchips will be also available at the reduced rate of $10.00. Cat owners must make an appointment. Feral cats are also eligible for this event.
In Charleston County, 10, 616 homeless pets entered shelters in 2009. 4,188 were put down. Pet Helpers urges the community to spay and neuter their cats and help prevent future litters of unwanted kittens. This special for female cats makes the surgery affordable in order to help control the ever-growing population of unwanted kittens and cats in the Lowcountry.
