Charleston Grill is excited to introduce a new event series, where we will explore several of the world's most preeminent wine regions. The inaugural event in the Charleston Grill Wine Region Series will feature a tasting reception and dinner focusing on the Loire Valley of France on Thursday, April 5 at 6:30 pm at the Charleston Grill..
Executive Chef Michelle Weaver and Sommelier Rick Rubel will delight guests with the flavors of wine and food from the Loire Valley. Guests will begin the evening with a tasting reception of wines and hors d’ourves under the spring sky in the Palmetto Courtyard. Afterward, guests will be invited to enjoy an exclusive, 3-course dinner with wine pairings in the Vintner's Room at the Charleston Grill.
During the evening, we will explore the top regions of the Loire—from Muscadet to Sancerre and Bonnezeaux to Quincy—and top producers like Château de la Ragotière, Chereau-Carre, Riffault, Damien Laureau and Huët.
The cost of the reception and dinner is $75 (plus tax and gratuity).Reservations are required for both the tasting and dinner and seating is limited. The reception cost without the dinner is $30.
