Sarah O’Kelley, co-owner of the Glass Onion restaurant, will be signing their debut cookbook, Glass Onion Classics, at the Le Creuset showroom, 241 King Street, on Saturday, November 19. O'Kelley will also be demonstrating a recipe from the book -- Papa's Oyster Stew -- and offering samples at 1 p.m. and 2:30 p.m.
The Glass Onion is pleased to team up with Le Creuset to showcase their recently published cookbook, which shares some of the West Ashley restaurant’s staple recipes like Jennie Ruth’s Deviled Eggs and Mustard Fried Catfish. In addition to recipes, O’Kelley shares profiles of local farmers and fishermen that have proved influential in the Glass Onion’s success.
