Despite the on again, off again rain over the weekend, the 13th year of the Guy Daniels Memorial SurfOff was a success.
The weather did affect the last day's Novice and Push-In divisions, which were canceled due to the incoming storm. Over at the SurfOff Facebook page, orginizers apoligized for the inconvieniance, "It was a tough decision for us to call these heats in particular because our favorite part of the event is introducing young people to the sport of surfing."
Despite those little hiccups, the event went off without a hitch. We've rounded up the best of local media's coverage on to one convenient place; also we compiled a Storify of what locals were saying across social media.
