15-year-old Mt. Pleasant author will sign the first three books of her 15-novel “Saderia Series”

Christine Osborne, owner of Wonder Works toy stores, is hosting a book signing with 15-year-old Charleston author Sarah Renée Saturday, Feb. 18, 2012. Renée will sign her first three published books, “The Tiger Princess,” “Dash” and “The Hunted Home,” from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. at the Mt. Pleasant store, located at 624 Long Point Rd. # D in the Belle Hall Shopping Center. From 2 to 5 p.m., she will sign books at the West Ashley store located in the St. Andrews Shopping Center, 975 Savannah Hwy. These are the first three books in her 15-novel “Saderia Series.”

Renée first developed “The Sederia Series” storyline at the age of 10 and began writing the books at age 12. The first novel in the series, “The Tiger Princess,” is about a young tiger princess who is searching for truth after her royal parents go missing in a fire. In her second novel, “Dash,” the tiger princess meets a dark, orphaned lion who is keeping a secret from her. Her third novel, “The Hunted Home,” published in August 2011, is about a young dingo that is fighting for survival in the desert.

“It is inspiring to see an accomplished local author at a young age, and we are so excited to welcome Sarah to our stores,” said Osborne. “Her books are eloquent, suspenseful and an exciting addition to the Wonder Works book section.”

Renée also designed all the covers for her books, which are published by CreateSpace, the North Charleston-based self-publishing division of Amazon.com.

All of Renée’s books are available at Wonder Works locations.  For more details, visit www.wonderworkscharleston.com.
