In today's Post and Courier local Edward M. Gilbreth penned a piece rapping on the city for not doing and spending more to celebrate the Christmas holiday.
His grief largely focuses on the diminishing presence of a tree that's usually placed in the middle of Colonial Lake and the city's suggestion that folks donate funds to replace the aging tree.
It prompted an interesting reaction in me and I'm not quite certain if I agree with him or not. It's an interesting bit of city politicking and seasonal cheer, go take a read.
